About Me

I am married and have three grown sons. Our family also has a cat named Steve and a dog named Louie. I am passionate about conservation and preserving the environment. I love helping students find success in Science.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching science in North Carolina for 17 years. I currently teach Biology and AP Environmental Science, but I have also taught Botany and Zoology and Earth and Space Science.

Interests

I am an active person. I like to run with a group of friends and take circuit training classes. I also like to read, craft and work on my bullet journal. One of my favorite pastimes is trying new recipes and baking treats for friends and family.

I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
